Knowledge of local cultural elements is essential for achieving endogenous sustainable development through the process of local social empowerment. Contemporary cultural tourism is based on the experience of living. In order to achieve a clearly structured and high-value tourism product in the cultural sector, there must be multi-level cooperation and participation in a local community. The project will also create a livable social experience, which increases visitor satisfaction and links learning with recreation and social interaction at the following sites in the historic city of Drama: TOBACCO FACTORY AND MANSION OF ANASTASIADES, 1875, RAILWAY STATION, 1895, TOBACCO FACTORY PORTOKALOGLOU, 1904, EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS OF THE ORTHODOX COMMUNITY OF DRAMA, 1909, TOBACCO FACTORY PROTOPAPA (FORMERLY MICHAELIDIS), 1912, OLYMPIA THEATRE, 1920, TOBACCO FACTORY SPIERER, 1925, TZIMOU MANSION, 1925, FEISS MANSION, 1927, NATIONAL BANK, 1928. Through the active participation of the visitor in the interpretive process, through appropriate guidance or multimedia (as will be the case in this project), the visitor enjoys the game of exploratory learning, which creates a feeling of justification, success and conquest of learning.
